Employment Support Program for Youth

The Employment Support Program for Youth (ESP4Youth) provides career preparation and skill building programming to at-risk youth, ages sixteen to twenty-nine, who experience multiple barriers to obtaining and maintaining employment.

The program emulates aspects of the workplace environment, provides participants with firsthand experience with workplace expectations about attendance, wage entitlements and the opportunity to develop critical life and employment skills in the areas of budgeting, reliability and punctuality.

Youth will be provided with the skills and confidence needed to successfully transition into the workforce as well as develop the independence to maintain employment.

Interested participants must apply to be registered for the program and must be:

· legally entitled to work in Saskatchewan;

· between 16 and 29 years of age and;

· face multiple barriers to obtaining and maintaining employment.

Secure a work placement and access to online courses to improve your skills! You may even be eligible for the Education and Training Incentive. The program takes place over fourteen weeks, and spots are limited so apply early! Applications close on June 14th for the June 24th intake.
